It’s a delicious Nutella dessert tastes precise like it appears: luxurious, delicious, and filled with Nutella.
The cake is made using the fluffy and delicious cream of Mascarpone cheese and lavish Nutella. It is also the best part; it’s gluten-free thanks to the almond flour, which is perfect to complement the hazelnut flavors of Nutella’s chocolate spread.
Be sure to trust me on this one. This decadent tart is a must to test. Learn how to make this decadent and delicious Cheese tart infused with Nutella.
Let’s get started!
Chocolate Chip Cookies with Brown Sugar
Nutella is most likely the most well-known hazelnut spread. It’s a great texture, smooth taste, and a gorgeous appearance.
Nutella is made using high-quality ingredients and, unlike other spreads, is a delicious taste. While I’m enjoying an ice cream piece of Nutella cheese tart as I write this post, I’m craving more Nutella when I think about it!
This recipe is gluten-free! This is yet another reason to opt for Nutella in this or any recipe.
As I mentioned, the crust is created using almond flour and coconut flour, and the filling is created using Mascarpone and Nutella.
Nutella has no gluten (it doesn’t contain any gluten-free ingredients). It’s a wonderful option to indulge in the chocolatey, slightly nutty taste notes. And you do not have to be concerned about who in your household can and cannot enjoy it!
Selecting the Most Delicious Mascarpone
Mascarpone may be the delicious and creamy component used in tiramisu, but what exactly is Mascarpone?
Mascarpone is an incredibly soft Italian triple or double cheese, based on the manufacturer. Mascarpone cheese contains between 60 and 75 percent fat content. This is why the cheese is so smooth and soft.
Mascarpone cheese can be compared to cream cheese, ricotta Clotted cream, and creme fraiche. But Mascarpone is much sweeter and less tart. Mascarpone is slightly sweet and has some acidity.
Its dense texture makes it a delicious ingredient in any recipe, whether sweet or spicy.
When selecting Mascarpone, choose the freshest one you can get that is made using regular milk.
There are mascarpone alternatives that use one component substituted for coconut cream. However, this kind of Mascarpone is a bit weak in flavor. Always choose fresh Mascarpone made from cow’s milk.
The Substitution Method for Mascarpone
Don’t be discouraged if you cannot find this wonderful Italian cheese. It is possible to get good results by mixing other high-fat dairy products such as cream cheese cream (heavy whipping, whipping as well as ordinary) and butter.
Below are possible combinations you can use in place of Mascarpone:
- Blend 8oz. cream cheese softened with 1 cup of whipping cream
- Blend 8oz. Softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup cream, and 1/4 cup butter.
- Blend 8oz. Cream cheese softened 3/4 cup heavy cream, 2 TBSP unsalted softened butter.
Making a Nutella Cheese Tart
The Nutella cheese tart is created in two components, the crust, and filling, and then it’s put together and chilled.
It is the first step to begin baking the pastry.
As we have discussed previously, the crust of this tart is made from coconut and almond flour. Coconut flour, almonds, and flour create an extremely pleasant and subtle taste of natural sweetness that complements the Nutella filling.
But, the crust itself doesn’t contain any sugar, and you can use it to make different recipes, including a savory tart or even a quiche.
It’s very simple to prepare by using a simple stir-and-press method. Additionally, it bakes perfectly. You could use the spring-form panto to simplify the process of taking off later.
When the crust is ready to bake, make sure that you poke it with a fork to ensure that it doesn’t rise and create an elongated bottom. It is possible to bake the crust traditionally, or you can bake it blindly.
In truth, sometimes I like using the traditional method, but at times, I like cooking blind. It’s down to my mood right now. This one was baked in the traditional way, and the result was perfect!
When the cake is cooling and needs to be at a perfect temperature before you can assemble the cake and you can prepare the filling.
Make sure to whip up the cream cheese and Mascarpone until they are smooth. Add vanilla and a little salt. Salt can balance sweetness perfectly.
Spread the filling evenly over the crust, then smooth the top. The tart should be refrigerated for at the very least 2 hours.
What Should I Use for topping?
There are many methods to dress this dessert in order to customize it to your taste.
To make this tart, I used hazelnuts that I had toasted and chopped. It was an easy flow of thoughts since Nutella can be made using hazelnuts.
There is no reason not to try other varieties of nuts or opt for a flavor that is more lively by using candied oranges. (I did it once using candied oranges, and it was delicious! There’s something very unique about the combination of orange and chocolate.)
Another option is to sprinkle the surface with cacao or chocolate powder.
How To Make A Nutella Cheese Tart
Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Create your crust: Make crust: In a bowl, mix coconut flour and almond flour.
Mix in eggs and butter.
Mix until the dough is together.
Make the dough into a tart pan of 9 inches, with sides and bottom. I employed a tart pan with an easily detachable top (spring for pan) for easy removal.
Make a small incision on the inside of the crust with a fork. Bake for 20 mins.
As the crust cools, prepare your filling: In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese with Nutella Vanilla, salt, as well as Nutella.
Place the mixture in a bowl and let it rest while the crust cools.
To assemble the tart: Place the filling on top of the crust that has been baked. Cover the tart gently with foil.
The tart can be chilled in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Take the tart out of the refrigerator. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts, then serve.
